This is a detailed guide on how to lvl up in GoD. I know that there is a few more guides out there but i've decided to post a more detailed guide for those who want super detail.
Here it goes:
-> Level 1-20
Nothing much to say about this. You just need to do the quests. More detail on how to do this quests here.
All the quests start where the previous quest ended, so it should be easy to keep track of things.
The list of the quests is here:
(Lvl 1-20) Let's Go to the Central Square (Pantheon in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Qualifications of the Seeker (Theodore in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Searching for the Mysterious Power (Shannon in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Going into a Real War, Let's Go to the Training Ground! (Evain in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Finding Magister Gallint (Shannon in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Searching for New Power (Gallint in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Respect Your Elders! (Gallint in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Intruder Who Wants the Book of Giants (Pantheon in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Request of Sealed Evil Fragments (Pantheon in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 1-20) Backup Seekers (Your race master in Talking Island Village)
(Lvl 8-20) To the Ye Sagira Ruins (Atran on Talking Island)
(Lvl 10-20) Roles of the Seeker (Lakcis outside the Ye Sagira Ruins)
(Lvl 10-20) Certification of the Seeker (Chesha in the Ye Sagira Ruins)
(Lvl 12-20) Request of the Seeker (Nagel in the Ye Sagira Ruins)
(Lvl 14-20) Obligations of the Seeker (Celin in the Ye Sagira Ruins)
(Lvl 16-25) Seeker Escort (Dep in the Ye Sagira Ruins)
(Lvl 16-25) Ruins Status Update (Sebion in the Ye Sagira Ruins)
After all this quests you should be lvl 18. It's now time for your 1st class transfer quest:
(Lvl 18+) Start of Fate (Your race master in Talking Island Village)
You can find some details on the quest here.
With the completion of the first class transfer you will be awarded with some Proof of Courages. With them buy a D set needed by your class and some D grade jewels. You will be awarded with a top D grade sword in a few lvls. With the help of Black Marketeer of Mammon (you can find him at this spots) you can change this top D weapon in the one you want so in my opinion there's no need to buy a weapon with the proofs. Spend the rest of the Proofs in Soulshots or Blessed Spiritshots.
-> Level 21-40
After you finish the first transfer quest is time to move out of TI. But before you do that you should start the next quest:
(Lvl 20-40) Tough Road (Your race master in Talking Island Village)
After that you go to Gludio. There you will start a new set of quests:
(Lvl 18-40) Disappeared Sakum (Captain Bathis in Gludio)
(Lvl 22-40) Reporting the Status of Windmill Hill (Guard Schunain on Windmill Hill)
(Lvl 23-40) Request to Find Sakum (Captain Bathis in Gludio)
(Lvl 27-40) Divided Sakum: Kanilov (Guard Zenath in the Ruins of Agony)
(Lvl 28-40) Sakum's Impact (Adventurer Guildsman in Gludio)
(Lvl 33-40) Divided Sakum: Poslof (Guard Lef in the Ruins of Despair) NOTE: You may need to lvl up a bit before do this quest. you will need to be lvl 33.
(Lvl 34-40) Sakum's Trace (Adventurer Guildsman in Gludio)
(Lvl 34-40) Monster Uprising (Guard Fred in the Wastelands) NOTE: You can start this quest when you enter the wasteland in the previous quest. Do both quests while you there.
After this last two quests you should be in lvl 37. You need one more lvl to start the second transfer quest. If you didn't do any Kamalokas yet you can do a lvl 36 Kamaloka. If you did you can do a lvl 39 Kamaloka. Get a party and go do one. If you prefer, go to wasteland and complete your level there. When you get to lvl 38 its time to do the second transfer quest:
(Lvl 38+) Certification of Fate (Your race master in the Town of Gludio)
You will receive some Proof of Justice. Use it ONLY in Soulshots or Blessed Spiritshots. The reason why you should do it is in the next section.
Edit: Here's a brief explanation on Kamalokas work:
First: you can only do one Kamaloka for day for the levels X3 and X6 and another Kamaloka for day for the levels X9. That means if you do a kamaloka for level 26 you won't be able to do a level 43 or 46 in the same day. Beside this case there's the X9 Kamalokas (also called labs from labyrinth), in this case you can only do one for day. So if you did a Kamaloka level 29 you won't be able to do a level 39 in the same day.
Kamaloka Guide
Second: The X9 Kamalokas have a few rooms with different monsters to kill. Most of the users just avoid them and go for the last boss. This is a mistake. The first room represent a lower pdef in the final boss, so if you defeat them the final Boss will have a lower pdef. The second room represent a lower mdef in the final boss and the third room represent a lower patk on the final boss. So depending on your party it may be advise to kill this monsters. (If this info is incorrect please correct me in a reply)
Labyrinth Guide
-> Level 41-52
Now is time to introduce you to the PATH TO AWAKENING.
Every time you get to a certain lvl you will be able to claim some bonus items in this website.
You will be able to claim this bonus at lvl 1, 20, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and 85. This means you wont need to buy any kind of equipment till S grade.
So, claim the lvl 1, 20 and 40 bonus and withdraw them from the Dimensional Merchant NPC.
EDIT: For those who are in a Clan academy and have a Sponsor it's time for a quest:
(Lvl 40+) Follow Me (Isael Silvershadow in Hunters Village)
You and your sponsor will have to do this quest. It will give your clan clan reputation, it will give your sponsor fame and it will give you XP and the academy circlet.
NOTE:
Most of this guide is aimed to the people without mentor. (or lvling a subclass) For those with mentor most of this quests are not necessary.
Mentor quick levling:
- (Lvl 40-52) Cruma Tower (Floor 1 and 2)
Time to continue some quests:
(Lvl 40-49) How to Stand Up for Yourself (Your race master in Gludio)
This quest sends you to Ivory Tower. If you following the Lineage 2 patch notes form the official website you will notice that the quest description is wrong. It's not in Cruma, it's in Ivory Tower.
After the conclusion of this quest it's time to choose what to do next:
- Heine: Kamalokas (lvl 43, 46 and 49) They are a good source of XP/SP and you will be able to start a Cruma quest that will give you a nice reward too.
- Dion: Cruma Tower - There's a daily quest at the entrance. Very easy and with a good reward so if you can you should do it.
EDIT: My advise is to go to Heine and start Mutated Kaneus. Do lvl 46 Kamaloka first and then, in the next day (if you still can) do lvl 43 Kamaloka. (supposed to be fixed now) After you defeated the RB form Kamaloka a new npc will appear. (Rieyi) talk to her to start the quest:
(Lvl 38+) Legacy of Cruma Tower (Rieyi inside the levels 43, 46, 49, and 53 Kamalokas)
(Lvl 38+) Another Legacy of Cruma Tower (Rieyi inside the levels 43, 46, 49, and 53 Kamalokas)
This is a quest that most of ppl have a lot of problems to finish. Basically you need to gather a party and be the first to talk to the quest npc after he appears. The first leader to do so will get his party teleported to the top of Cruma to fight the RB Mertes. Kill it (don't let the minions heal him, kill them when they appear) and finish the quest at the entrance. I recommend doing it only once or twice, depending on how long you take to lvl. (In late lvls you will loose precious time doing this quest for a smaller XP % reward)
Don't forget to start the next quest when you enter Cruma:
(Lvl 38+) Shadow Helper (Ridenbag in Cruma Tower)
This quest is a daily quest so do it as much as you can. (While farming in Cruma)
And till lvl 49 this is all the quests there is.
There are a few zones that you can take till lvl 49. Here's a few:
- Cruma Tower: It's probably the best place to XP in this range of levels. For the Cruma lvl 2 you will need to use the teleporters that are at the exit of the new elevator of Cruma. (Unfortunately this zone looks to be a bit bugged so some of the npcs could stop working or disappear to unknown places. The teleporters are one of this cases.)
- Ivory tower: Interesting zone but only good for the first lvls. I would recommend using Cruma.
- Cemitery: For ppl that need undead mobs to kill this is a perfect solution. Not as good as Cruma but healers could lvl up here faster.
- Enchanted Valley/Forrest of Mirrors: A good alternate place if you find Cruma too populated.
When you get to lvl 49 it's time to go to Gludin and start the Pailaka quest:
(Lvl 49-55) Pailaka – Song of Ice and Fire (Inspector Adler in Gludin Town)
It's the same old quest, but with different levels.
Next, when you're at level 50 its time for the next quest:
(Lvl 50-54) Berserk Outlaws (Adventurer Guide in any town)
Basically you need to hunt in Outlaw Forest till you get the items asked.
After this, if you don't have the level 52 yet, just start the Mutated Kaneus in Oren and do the lvl 53 Kamaloka.
-> Level 53-61
Get what you have in the Dimensional Merchant. Equip your new B grade set and weapon
Mentor quick levling:
- (Lvl 53-61) Tower of Insolence (Floor 1, 2 and 3)
First thing to do is a Kamaloka lvl 56. Why? Because with it you will get the chance of doing a ToI quest that has a really nice reward.
(Lvl 48+) Certification of Value (Rieyi inside the levels 56, 63, 66, and 73 Kamalokas)
(Lvl 48+) Recertification of Value (Rieyi inside the levels 56, 63, 66, and 73 Kamalokas)
Remember to this daily. If you gather all the tokens you will get a really cool ring.
The next quest is probably for those who have a good clan as backup, if not you only be able to do in late lvls. (60+)
(Lvl 48+) Intended Tactic (Ende in the Tower of Insolence)
I can't talk much about it (i making this without a clan, so i didn't finish this one yet) but if you finish this one you will get some extra tokens. I'm not sure how many but at least one you will get. That means you will be able to get the Ring in half of the time so it's an important one for those who can do it.
After all this, if you're not at level 55 go level in one of this places:
- Tower of Insolence: Let's face it, this is one of the most important locations in you're leveling. Could be tricky to level here alone so, if you can't do it solo try to get a party. level 1-3 is a good place for B grade.
- Forsaken Plains: A good place for solo hunting.
If you got to level 55 it's time for another quest:
(Lvl 55-59) Not To Be Forgotten (Adventurer Guide in any town)
It's an easy quest, just hunt in Forsaken Plains till you finish the quest.
Next quest to do is at level 60 so choose your place and go level! Don't forget to do the daily quests (and the Kamalokas too, since they are the way to start at least one of this quests)
Before going to the level 60 quests let me remeber that if you got a really good party you can try to do Zaken day light instance. (Never tried...)
So, getting to level 60 will get you a few quests to do: Edit: There's been some reports that the start level of this quests was changed from 60 to 61.
(Lvl 60-64) The Oppressor and the Oppressed (Adventurer Guide in any town)
(Lvl 60-64) Divinity Protector (Adventurer Guide in any town)
(Lvl 60-64) Waiting for the Summer (Adventurer Guide in any town)
If anyone have any new hunting spot or a quest that you feel could be here please feel free to reply it.
-> Level 62-75
Mentor quick levling:
- (Lvl 62-70) Tower of Insolence (Floor 6 to 11)
- (Lvl 68-75) Wall of Argos
You should be already using the A equipment but if you still didn't get it it's time to get it.
Till level 64 you should be doing the quests i talked in the previous posts. They will give you adena and some XP so keep doing it. The quests from the Kamaloka npc give a good reward so start them if you need to.
At level 62 you have a new quest to do:
(Lvl 61-67) Pailaka – Devil's Legacy (Devil's Isle Survivor in Giran Town)
This set of quests are a good source of XP:
(Lvl 63+) Hidden Truth (Mysterious Wizard in Forest of the Dead)
(Lvl 63+) Tragedy in Von Hellmann Forest (Tifaren in Town of Rune)
(Lvl 64+) Lidia's Heart (Innocentin in Town of Rune)
(Lvl 65+) Inhabitants of the Forest of the Dead (Dorian in Cursed Village))
(Lvl 66+) Hiding Behind the Truth (Benedict in Town of Rune)
Till level 65 that's it when it comes to quests. So till level 65 you should try the next zones to level:
- Valley of Saints: Good and easy place to XP.
- Blazing Swamp: An alternative to the other places.
- Tower of Insolence: Better suited if you have a party with you. Level 6-9 are good places for you.
- Swamp of Screams: Easy kills so good place for some to XP.
At level 65 there is a new set of quests:
(Lvl 65-69) Mysterious Letter (Adventurer Guide in any town)
It's an easy quest that you can do one time. (and not daily as the patch notes say)
Then you have 2 daily quests (that you can do only one of them per day) available:
(Lvl 65-69) For the Sacrificed (Adventurer Guide in any town)
(Lvl 65-69) Plain Mission (Adventurer Guide in any town)
They are doable till level 69 so don't forget to start them every day.
At level 70 you will get new quests. First one is for your clan. Grab your sponsor and do:
(Lvl 70-75) Come to Me (Head Blacksmith Ferris in the Town of Aden)
It will give Fame to your sponsor, CRP to your clan and XP/SP and a new ring to you.
Next you will have new daily quests:
(Lvl 70-74) Awakened (Adventurer Guide in any town)
(Lvl 70-74) Be Well (Adventurer Guide in any town)
(Lvl 70-74) Hot Spring Water (Adventurer Guide in any town)
From what i understand you can do 2 of the 3 quests per day.
At level 73 there's a new Pailaka you can go:
(Lvl 73-77) Pailaka – Injured Dragon (Ketra Orc Shaman outside Goddard Town)
Till level 75 only the dailys are worth doing. So it's time to grind hard.
There are a few zones that you can use:
- ToI Higher levels (for party groups)
- Crypt of Disgrace (for some classes you can solo them)
- deep Wall of Argos (If this place isn't completely full like it's been)
- Pavels Ruins (For AoE capable classes)
And a few more that you can explore. You will find that some other areas give less XP but the fact they are "players free" may be something to consider.
When you reach level 75 you will get a new set of dailys:
(Lvl 75-79) Well-Known Secret (Adventurer Guide in any town)
(Lvl 75-79) Wonders of Caring (Adventurer Guide in any town)
(Lvl 75-79) In This Quiet Place (Adventurer Guide in any town)
They have very good rewarding BUT they ask you to hunt in zones that normally are overpopulated.
This quest you can do now, or you can do later. This is a lvl 75+ quest and shouldn't take more then 20 min to complete:
(Lvl 75+) Journey to Gracia (High Priest Orven in Town of Aden)
The rest is grind and grind.
-> Level 76-84
Mentor quick levling:
- (Lvl 76-80) Forge of the Gods (AoE there)
- (Lvl 76-84) Dragon Valley
- (Lvl 78-82) Crypt of Disgrace
- (Lvl 78-82) Primeval Island (For Mage class)
- (Lvl 78-82) Imperial Tomb
- (Lvl 80-84) Sel Mahum Training Grounds
- (Lvl 80-84) Swampland
Well, at level 76 the first thing to do is your third job quest. They are not the same as before, now you will have one quest per race.
(Lvl 76+) Day of Destiny – Human’s Fate (High Priest Orven in the Town of Aden)
(Lvl 76+) Day of Destiny – Elf’s Fate (Grand Magister Winonin in the Town of Aden)
(Lvl 76+) Day of Destiny – Dark Elf’s Fate (Grand Master Oltran in the Town of Aden)
(Lvl 76+) Day of Destiny – Orc’s Fate (High Prefect Ladanza in the town of Aden)
(Lvl 76+) Day of Destiny – Dwarf’s Fate (Head Blacksmith Ferris in the town of Aden)
(Lvl 76+) Day of Destiny – Kamael’s Fate (Grand Master Brome in the town of Aden)
(Lvl 76+) Law Enforcement (Grand Master Liane in the town of Aden) (For Judicators)
After the quest is completed there's a lot to do. First thing to do is claim the last of the rewards from the path of awakening system. (Free S grade... weeee)
Next you can do the sub quest or continue leveling.
I will let the subclass quest for later and focus on the leveling first. (EDIT: It is now a lvl 85+ quest, check the other section (Level 85+) for more information)
As you may already heard there is a super cool quest that gives you tones of XP (EDIT: Isn't as good now as it used to be). You can use that quest at level 77 so if you still didn't get there is a few places you can use to XP:
- Forge of Gods: If you get an AOE party of 7 ppl working good you will lvl really fast here. 76 to 79 is easy to get here. (Almost as fast as the PI quest)
- Tower of Insolence: High levels are a great way to XP too.
- Shrine of Loyalty/Wall of Argos: If there's space it's a good zone too.
- Imperial Tomb: Someone said me that is a good place to AoE too. Never tested...
- Primeval Isle: good place for mage class.
Now for the primeval time, there are 4 quests to do before the "special" one: Edit: The quest was changed and instead of 15M XP it gives only 1.5M now
(Lvl 75+) To the Primeval Island (Anton in Town of Rune) (optional but worth the time spent)
(Lvl 75+) Meeting the Elroki (Marquez in the Primeval Isle Wharf)
(Lvl 76+) The Name of Evil - 1 (Mushika in the Primeval Isle Wharf)
(Lvl 77+) The Name of Evil - 2 (Asamah in the Primeval Isle Wharf)
AND:
(Lvl 77+) Attack Sailren! (Shilen's Stone Statue in Primeval Isle)
Remember that this quest is popular so it's normal for the Isle to be overpopulated.
You can use AoE partys to get to lvl 79 and then do other new areas and quests. It's up to you.
With Harmony there's a few new quests at lvl 76:
(Lvl 76-81) Menacing Times (Your race master in Town of Aden)
(Lvl 76-81) Grasp Thy Power (Gerkenshtein in the Shrine of Loyalty)
(Lvl 76-81) Purgatory Volvere (Gerkenshtein in the Shrine of Loyalty)
Then this daily quest:
(Lvl 76-81) In Nomine Patris (Soldier Sirik in the Shrine of Loyalty)
After hitting level 79 it's time to do some of the seven signs quest. They give you more then 30% of XP at level 79 so i suggest doing them. (Plus they are actually fun to do)
Here a list of them:
(Lvl 79+) Seven Signs Part 1, Series of Doubt (Warehouse Chief Croop in Town of Oren)
(Lvl 79+) Seven Signs Part 2, Dying Message (High Priest Hollint in Town of Oren)
(Lvl 79+) Seven Signs Part 3, Mammon's Contract (Sir Gustav Athebaldt in Town of Oren)
(Lvl 79+) Seven Signs Part 4, Secret Ritual of the Priests (Claudia Athebaldt in Town of Aden)
(Lvl 79+) Seven Signs Part 5, Seal of the Emperor (Iason Heine in Heine)
(Lvl 79+) Seven Signs Part 6, Sacred Book of Seal (Priest Wood in Town of Aden)
(Lvl 79+) Seven Signs Part 7, Embryo (Priest Wood in Town of Aden)
After the funny quest time to grind and do some more quests.
(Lvl 80+) That Place Succubus (Captain Andrei in Town of Goddard)
(Lvl80+) Succubus Disciples (Vice Hierarch Zenya in the Imperial Tomb)
(Lvl80+) Bloody Good Time (Vice Hierarch Zenya in the Imperial Tomb)
And the daily quest:
(Lvl80+) Tomb Raiders (Vice Hierarch Zenya in the Imperial Tomb)
When you it 81 you get a new set of 7 signs quests:
(Lvl 81+) Seven Signs Part 8, Girl of Doubt (Priest Wood in Town of Aden)
(Lvl 81+) Seven Signs Part 9, Forbidden Book of the Elmore-Aden Kingdom (Elcadia in Beast Farm)
(Lvl 81+) Seven Signs Part 10, To the Monastery of Silence (Elcadia in Beast Farm)
(Lvl 81+) Seven Signs Part 11, Solina's Tomb (Director Eris's Evil Thoughts in Monastery of Silence)
(Lvl 81+) Seven Signs Part 12, One Who Seeks the Power of the Seal (Director Eris's Evil Thoughts in Monastery of Silence)
At this level theres a few areas that have some quest related. I didn't test them all but as fa as i know they are not worth mentioning. IF someone tested them and think they are worth the time please reply with some details.
Now there's a few areas that you can explore:
- Crypt of Disgrace: Good place to AoE or Solo XP. For solo use the start zone, for AoE use the pyramid zone.
- Den of Evil: Another good place for AoE or Solo XP.
- Bloody Swampland: A bit hard place but some classes can use it to XP. Its an area where lvl 85+ use so be careful.
- Primeval Island: For mage class the AoE+quest is still a good place to XP.
- Dragon Valley: I don't know much about this area but it's supposed to be a good place to hunt.
If you want to relax a bit there's a quest just for you:
(Lvl 82+) Bring Up With Love (Tunatum in Beast Farm)
It's always fun to have 20 pets following you... Besides the fun it actually gives good XP and a Water Crystal.
If none of the solutions above are interesting to you you may try Gracia territory. Here is a few quest that take few time and have a nice reward:
(Lvl 75+) To the Seed of Destruction (Admiral Keucereus in Keucereus Alliance Base)
(Lvl 75+) To the Seed of Infinity (Admiral Keucereus in Keucereus Alliance Base)
They are quick and easy to do. At this places there are a few quests associated with each Seed. Try to explore this quests if you choose to hunt here.
There's not much more that i can remember. If you have high level friends you can go with them to SoA and they can Plvl you.
Other then that is grind grind and grind.
-> Level 85+
First thing to do when you hit 85 is to do your awaken quest. If you click on the button that appear when you hit lvl 85 you will see a bunch of videos and some story related content. In the end you will have to go to the place where you started: Talking Island.
Seize Your Destiny (Cellphine in Talking Island Village)
After the quest you are awaken!
I will use this part to introduce something that you could do before but will be much easier now: Subclass.
(Lv85+) Red Thread of Fate (Raina in Talking Island)
Next there's a one time quest that should be done:
(Lvl 85+) Revived Power of the Giant (Sebion in the Ye Sagira Ruins)

Next you have Kartia's Labyrinth. It's a daily instance that you can do it daily (One solo and one in group). Good XP reward.

- Altar of Evil: Solo place. (Lvl 85-88)
- Bloody Swamp: Solo place. (Lvl 85-88)
- Seed of Annihilation: Party place. (Lvl 85-88)

(Lvl 90+) To the Prison of Darkness (Slaski in Ancient City of Arcan)

(Lvl 95+) An Uninvited Guest (Endrigo in Guillotine Fortress)
(Lvl 95+) The Executioner's Execution (Endrigo in Guillotine Fortress)

(Lv95+) Incarnation of Gluttony Kalios (Group) (Kartia Researcher in Town of Aden)
Here it goes:
-> Level 1-20
Nothing much to say about this. You just need to do the quests. More detail on how to do this quests here.
All the quests start where the previous quest ended, so it should be easy to keep track of things.

-> Level 21-40
-> Level 41-52
-> Level 53-61
-> Level 62-75
-> Level 76-84
-> Level 85+
Good Reward for a quest so do it if you can.
Next you have Kartia's Labyrinth. It's a daily instance that you can do it daily (One solo and one in group). Good XP reward.
You can find some guides here (solo) or here (group)
Don't forget to start the quest before entering the the instance for an extra reward.
In Soa there's a instance that you can do every 6 hours:

- Altar of Evil: Solo place. (Lvl 85-88)
- Bloody Swamp: Solo place. (Lvl 85-88)
- Seed of Annihilation: Party place. (Lvl 85-88)
At level 90 there is a few quest that you need to do in order of doing some important instances:
(Lvl 90+) Shadow of Terror: Blackish Red Fog (Lada in Hunters Village)

(Lvl 90+) To the Prison of Darkness (Slaski in Ancient City of Arcan)
(Lvl 90+) Undecaying Memory of the Past (Opera in Orbis Temple)
Before doing this instances i suggest starting this quest:
(Lvl 90+) Filling the Energy of Destruction (any Seed Talisman Manager)

At level 93 you will get a few more quests, first the one-time quests:
(Lvl 93+) Mysterious Journey (Tapoy in Gludin Village)
(Lvl 93+) Souless One (Hesed in Isle of Souls Harbor)
Then there's the daily quests:
(Lvl 93+) Uncover the Secret (Hesed in Isle of Souls Harbor)

At lvl 95 theres a few more things to do, first the one-time quests.
Guillotine Fortress quests:
(Lvl 95+) The Invaded Execution Grounds (Sylvain in Town of Dion)
(Lvl 95+) An Uninvited Guest (Endrigo in Guillotine Fortress)
(Lvl 95+) The Executioner's Execution (Endrigo in Guillotine Fortress)
(Lvl 95+) Weeding Work (Dadphyna in Guillotine Fortress)
Seal of Shillen quests:
